eOneNet.com, the leading Internet marketing company in Malaysia and Hong Kong, has obtained a judgment in the High Court of Malaysia against its former student Linda Lee Chye Yen for teaching Internet marketing courses with materials in breach of copyright belonged to eOneNet, and in addition, the court granted an injunction to prevent the Defendants from doing infringing acts or work, and to prevent them from producing, selling or procuring or assisting others to produce eOneNet’s copyrighted materials. The court also granted an order for assessment of damages to be paid the Defendants to eOneNet.

The Court ordered the Defendants to pay costs in the sum of RM70,000 to eOneNet. However, despite repeated demands, the Defendants failed to pay for the costs. As a result, eOneNet issued bankruptcy notices to both Defendants, and so far could only serve the notice to Lee Boon Hui, whereas Lee Chye Yen Linda could not be located and served with the bankruptcy notice. eOneNet is now applying for substituted service against her.

“We have seen some Internet marketers teaching Internet marketing courses shortly after learning from other Internet marketing seminars, and using others’ materials to teach. We will continue to defend our copyrighted materials, and will not hesitate to take legal action to protect our copyrights,” said Harrace Lau, Chief Consultant of eOneNet.com.

In the meantime, eOneNet is applying for assessment of damages to be paid by both Defendants, and the Defendants are filing an appeal against the judgment.

H7N9 Bird Flu Mask is recommended by WHO as one of the effective measures to stop  spreading of this deadly bird flu virus, which has now been confirmed in various parts of China, including 4 confirmed H7N9 cases in Jiangsu yesterday.

Four people in Jiangsu province are fighting for their lives after it was confirmed they were infected with H7N9 bird flu.

The news follows the deaths of two men in Shanghai. A woman from Anhui is also critically ill.

Public hospitals in Hong Kong stepped up measures to spot suspected cases and sampling at poultry farms has increased.

The Department of Health advised travellers returning from Jiangsu, Shanghai and Anhui with respiratory symptoms to wear H7N9 masks and seek medical attention.
