Outdoor Advertising - eOneNet Banner Stolen!
Last week, we had a brand new banner stand to display our outdoor banner at the main entrance of our builder - Damansara Perdana - The Place.
While driving to the office this morning, i realised that i didn’t see the banner, so i casually asked my team whether someone moved the banner. Guess what my web designer told me? The banner disappeared just over the weekend and someone basically just took the banner away.
Now, you might be interested to know what we had on the banner. Basically it was my picture with some explanation of our services like Online Marketing, e-Commerce Credit Card Payment, and with our domain name there too. The weird thing was that the thief only stole the BANNER but did not take the Banner Stand (which was definitely had more resale value compared to my banner).
We’ve placed the banner downstairs, at the front entrance of our building for over 8 months, and it’s the first time that this was stolen.
I am worried at times, thinking where my picture would have ended up, so looks like we just need to have a new outdoor banner printed.
Therefore, if you are thinking of placing outdoor advertising using banners, do check whether other tenants / companies are also doing so. Normally the outdoor banner stands should be the rounded stand type with solid / heavy base in order to prevent it from falling down. The regular rectangular type ones are hardly able to sustain even mild breeze, not to mention windy weather.
