Tiananmen Square in Beijing, China
Another popular tourist spot, right in the middle of the City is Tiananmen Square (which can be pronounced as Tiananmen Guangchang). In Chinese, it’s written as 天安门广场, or 天安門廣場.
If you visit Tiananmen Square at night, you can see the bright lights display. You’ll be surprised to see the huge kites being flown by the locals here at night, and people just sitting around the square, with lamp posts surrounding the area.
Buildings in Beijing are normally low-rise and unlike the typical skycrapers that you can find all across other top China cities like Shanghai. Roads are broad and can accommodate many lanes, and buildings are normally separated quite fall apart.
