Jade from China
During my Beijing trip, i visited a jade jewelry store as well and learnt some new items about Jade. Not to mention trying on some jade bangles. Here are 2 different jade bangles, can you guess the price of each one? Which was more expensive?
One of the jade bangles was RMB108,000 (about US$13,800) while other was only about RMB6,000 (about US$760).
A popular souvenir from Beijing is the jade pillow. Yes, you can place this extra layer of jade pieces on your pillow and it was supposed to let you enjoy a more pleasant sleep.
At the end of my trip, i finally bought some jade jewelries in modern designs like this dragon designed jade pendant as well as chinese-knotted necklace jade pendants that can be matched with casual wear (great cheap fashion jewelry made of jade).
