If you are interested in registering domain names for your own company, or website in your country, then you need to contact the domain name registration authority of your country.
The TLD identifies the origin of a domain name (website name). TLD can be divided into 2 different types: Generic (gTLD) and Country Code (ccTLD). The gTLD (e.g.:.com,. net, org), while ccTLD as associated to the Country (e.g.: .com.my)

If you have a physical presence in a particular country, then it will be wise to also register for the country’s domain name extension, in order to protect your interest.

For most of the country domain names, they are restricted for registration by companies / businesses operating from that country.

I’ve got some tools for finding Available domain names including Chinese and Indian domain names. Still trying to find a good registrar to send people to when a domain is available
