Harbour City Shopping Mall, Tsim Sha Tsui popular attraction
One of the popular shopping malls that i frequent is the Harbour City Shopping Mall. It’s also next to the China Hong Kong shopping mall, where you can board the ferry to Macau.
As a matter of fact, i’m here at least 3 times a week whenever i’m in HK. The popular luxury brands like Louis Vuitton, Prada, Gucci, have outlets around this location. Check out the queue for entering the Louis Vuitton shop. While waiting in line, you can view the Louis Vuitton handbags on display.![]()
For LV lovers, you’d probably know by now that there’s NO SALE going on, but the customers were lining up because the store just have to control the amount of crowd that enters the shop. The prices of luxury goods in Hong Kong is among one of the lowest in Asia, and i remembered buying a RMB8,000 Louis Vuitton bag in Shanghai’s Plaza 66 which cost me close to RM500 in price difference between China and Singapore. And yes, it was an authentic Louis Vuitton, not a replica / fake LV.
For movie lovers, cinemas are just around the corner as well - Gateway cinemas and MCL cinemas. Price of tickets are about HK$60 on weekends. I managed to catch DOA (Death or Alive movie) at Gateway on Sunday, and The Devil Loves Prada at MCL on Monday. When watching movies in Hong Kong, do make sure what language the movie will be shown in, as i remembered watching The Shaggy Dog here a couple of months ago, and it was rather weird to listen to the Cantonese version of this American film.
You will also be able to walk over to the Star Ferry terminal where you can board a ferry from the Kowloon side to Hong Kong island.
