Search Keyword : keyword marketing for search engines ranking?

Targetting your keywords are often discussed in search engines ranking improvement. Yes, many people are interested to get top ranking for their keywords, and often you might be confused as to which is the correct keyword to target.

Keywords for your websites should normally be 3 sets of words or more, and not just 1 singular. For example if i am operating a chinese food catering services company then my keyword would not be food, and not even chinese food, but to be more specific as to chinese food catering (where)? The word food is and chinese food is too general.

In this example above, if your products or services are limited by geographical locations, then you should insert in the locations that you can offer your services in as well. In this way, if let’s say i am operating my business in Singapore, then i can use the following sets as keywords:-

a) Using my main location / country of which is am operating from, eg singapore food caterer, singapore chinese food caterer, singapore chinese food catering

b) Using more specific locations within the main geographic location, eg ang mo kio food caterer, orchard road food catering, bras basah chinese food catering company

c) Using different segments within my service / products market eg hokkien food catering, hainanese food caterer

Then, each webpage or section within your website should have its own target keywords. Just spend some time understanding your current business more, and then you can search for related keywords to focus on.
