Fione’s TV shooting for RTM2 - Morning Glory
Today is a public holiday for the state of Selangor, but i’m back to the office today, for the shooting of 2 segments for RTM2’s Morning Glory. This TV program brings different topics about life and business, and is aired on RTM2 channel.
I brought along a couple of dress suits for the shoot on the Malaysian TV programs normally require you to wear long sleeved jackets. It was supposed to start at 3pm but by 2.30 the shooting crew was already here. Ken the producer, together with Vonn, supervising the shoot and of course, Alvin the make up artist.
When i greeted them with my casual clothes, and bare-faced (pre-make up) looks, i’m sure they were shocked. Not really because, it’s my second round of shooting for RTM in these 2 months. The earlier shooting was for Siapa Dia program, a brand new Malay program on RTM starting 2007, that features different role models in Malaysia.
Anyhow, i did my own make up and Alvin put on the finishing touches to make my make up look even more elegant. While waiting for my hair to be done up, we casually chatted with the crew members.
I will be discussing 2 episodes related to the Internet, for the Morning Glory show. These include:-
a) How to make money online, starting from scratch.
b) Common misconceptions about the Internet : What’s Real & What’s Not?
Unlike the earlier interview type of series, this one is whereby i get to talk all by myself, like a tv program host.
We started filming at about 3.30 and finished by 5. Thank goodness, i didn’t have to redo the takes. I was basically shooting overtime than my original 20 minutes of program time, but that leaves the producers more chance to edit and choose the better parts of my presentation.
I managed to changed into my 2nd wardrobe for the 2nd topic and had my make up plus hair done up slightly different ( to pretend as though we did 2 different days of shooting). Check out how pleased i look after wrapping up the shooting sessions. I’ll keep everyone posted as to when the program will air so that you can also see my own screen perfomances.
