Van Ling - IT Trainee & Japanese food enthusiast
Hi, I’m Van Ling and i’ve joined eOneNet since Oct 2006
Almost graduating next year, I am now a trainee in eOneNet.com. Having the first experience of working life in eOneNet.com, i am so grateful that i have learned a lot and gained practical experience within few weeks working here. Not to mention, all the wonderful colleagues that have been very nice to me since the first day of work.
Being the only daughter in siblings of three, my family always gives me the best and thought me the road of life from experience and words, “ Be kind and generous, help people among you because it will bring you no loss “. Both my parents are workaholic, and now my brother is beginning to have their early stage symptoms, but he sure knows how to live to enjoy life, SPENDTHRIFT.
My all time favorite is to “ENJOY THE FOOD”. My favorite food, Japanese. My favorite restaurants, Shogun and Sushi King. Yet to try another new one in PJ, Sushi Tomo. I love to try out new things and share it with everybody. My good friend, Feline (the above pic) thinks i’m a maniac because i visit japanese restaurants more often than i visit the public toilet, so she’ll just sometimes ignore me when i wanted for japanese food. Another ” girl must do ” activity is shopping. Girls will never skip this no matter where they are, there’s still some exceptional cases though. Even at home, because we have Online Shopping. It’s as easy as click click click, and wait for the delivery.
Things i really love to do at home, is to sit in front of my laptop and download series, Chinese or English, since i have 24/7 online services. You can guess, i love watching movies. And i will always log on to www.cinemaonline.com.my to view for new movies to watch. The latest movie i watched was COLIC. Well, it wasn’t really my plan to watch horror movie, but i was conned into watching that movie. I closed my eyes throughout most of the movie. It was suppose to be CICAKMAN, but Saiful Apek doesn’t talk in Thai language, does he ?
Internet is always the best way for me and my friends to keep in touch. I’ll always ensure that my MSN or Yahoo Messenger is online most of the time at home, so i can be reached at most times. My upcoming plan is a trip with my group of friends to Bangkok, but we’re still searching for information from the internet to help us plan. I wonder do they have special sushi in Bangkok ?

Hi Ling,
Looks like we’ve got another Japanese lover in the office! The words, unagi, chawan mushi, bento, yakitori, must be part of your beloved words.

Hiya Ling,
I’m your team mate from Hong Kong. You are lucky to be able to enjoy cheap Japanese food in Malaysia. If you happen to visit Hong Kong or London in future, let me know as I can suggest few good proper Japanese restaurants in town!

Wow, didn’t realise almost half the eOneNet team are Jap food lovers.
Hey just to check, does any of you have any quirky habits when visiting Jap restaurants?
Whenever I visit Jap restaurants, I’ll make sure I dip sashimi into a lot of wasabe and get the ’shooting’ feeling right up my brains! Then I’ll feel accomplished… hahahaha, but sometimes too much wasabe and I’ll be tearing like crazy…

Hi Ching Ching,
Don’t worry, that is only teppanyaki..havent reach to sashimi yet…muahahha..
Kevin,
That is why exactly i love Jap food so much, the SATISFACTION !!

Hello Van Ling,
Since you say it out loud that you been conned by COLIC movie I guess the next movie you going to watch with us will be horror again. Well since the day you started working I found a lot of improvement on you. Waking up early and know then sense of responsible (not to mention how many times you missed you morning classes). Keep on the good. Good luck on your working life and have a nice days ahead.
P/S: Please make sure when you’re on Sushi date I’m not invited.
