Winnie, our Singapore Web Designer who Loves CheeseCake!
Hi, Winnie here! Or you can call me Pooh too. But I’m not the winnie the pooh! A lot of people thought that I liked winnie the pooh so much that’s why I choose this name. NO, when I choose this name I don’t even know there’s such a character . . . Coincidently, I also like winnie the pooh & of course his buddies too, like tigger, eeyore, piglet. I have collected lots of their soft toys and they are now occupying my entire cupboard! My mum always said I can open a shop selling toys in the future! Hmmmm. . .it’s a good idea.
I’ve just joined eOneNet Singapore about 2 months ago. It’s quite a challenge for me working in this company. My previous job is mostly on designing only, thus everyday I had to sit in front of the computer for more than 8 hours.
At eOneNet, besides doing designing work, I have to communicate with customers and coaching participants in building their own website using eOneNet’s SEO Site Builder, discuss and share my experiences with them too. The good thing about this is I can meet lots of interesting people from all walks of life. It’s much more interesting compared to my previous job. Of course the best part is I get to learn lots of stuff about the internet marketing business. It’s a totally new experience for me.
Previously, I always thought that starting a business is a difficult and an impossible dream for me since i have no marketing knowledge at all. But since I started working here and after attending the seminars, I realized that starting an online business is not a dream anymore. Every one can make it, including me! Making a profit using online business is possible as the potential customer base is so huge. I am so surprised!
During my last seminar, one of the participants shared her friend’s successful online business story with me. Her friend only sells handmade stuff online but he is doing very well. It shows that everyone can start their online business and succeed regardless of who you are. Amazing! Although I been in this company for only 2 months, I managed to learn a lot. I am enjoying every part of my working life here. Of course not to forget to thank all the colleagues who have guided and helped me. THANK YOU!
All my friends know that I am crazy over cheese cake especially New York cheese, Marble cheese, Strawberry cheese & Oreo cheese. Yeah . .. as long as it’s cheese cake, I love it!
Everytime at a buffet, the first thing I look for is the dessert bar because desert is my main course. . . all other food are only my appetizers. Can you imagine that I can finish an entire cheese cake within 2 days . . . Though I can’t finish a bowl of rice during my meal, I can finish a few slices of cake at one time!
Besides cakes, coffee is another of my favorite. I like Mocha, Latte & Cappuccino. Unfortunately I can’t take caffeine. I will feel dizzy and have a headache even with just one sip. Luckily there’s this “caffeine free” coffee and it still taste as good.
Previously every time i order coffee , I will ask for ice water. Then with every mouthful of coffee, I will follow up with a glass of ice water. . . it’s like Coffee-ice water-coffee-ice water. . .in this way, I won’t feel dizzy. . .hahaha! Thus most of the time after I finish my cup of coffee, I had already consumed enough water for the day. So remember, if you see me asking for refilling of ice water very often, don’t be shocked!

I could never understand how you can eat all these delicious high calorie cheese cakes, but still look so slim? I’m sure lots of ladies with low metabolism wished we knew your secret to your healthy weight.

That is glad you join in to eOneNet. We all are welcome you. I also like to eat cakes, but I prefer chocolate and pandan cake :P. But now I am on diet period, so I try to control myseld don’t eat too much dessert, hehe. Maybe you plan 1 day visit to penang, my home town, cause there have a lot of nice foods are waiting for you, haha~, so see you there yah!

I had no idea why you like coffee since it makes you dizzy. I had that experienced and I never touch coffee ever again even it’s the only way to keep me up in the early morning.
That’s why I always feel wreck throughout the day!

I also love dessert, and this is my favourite in buffet! Other than cheese cake, I like blackforest, fresh fruit cream cake. Not to forget the Chinese dessert like black sesame soup

Hello Winnie aka Pooh,
I love cheese cakes too, my favourite is the Original Tiramisu. The only place for me to get those originality is from Secret Recipe, correct ? Or there’s other places ?
I am not much of a coffee lover, cause my body can’t input too much caffein, same case, dizzy.. (@.@)

haha…. I love desert too, and basically all kind of sweet! When I go to buffet with my parents, they always say that I shouldn’t come with them, coz the only things I will eat is Sweet… Sweet and Sweet again!!!^.^
and I like to cook desert by myself as well!
Since I came back to hk for one and a half month. I had already made two Tarimusu myself…^>^
