TV1 Malaysia airing about Fione Tan as Malaysia Internet Marketing Personality
Wow, just received news from my eOneNet team that TV1 station in Malaysia has just aired a 30-minute interview about us this morning 10am. This was a brand new Malay program called Mutiara on TV1 (formerly known as RTM1).
Here is a photo of me and the host during the recording in our eOneNet Malaysia office computer lab.
The shooting of this program features various successful personalities from all walks of life, be it entertainers, business leaders and also for our case, it’s about Successful Online Money Making Entrepreneur. Actually i had this TV shooting done over 2 different days, with 1 day about my family, home and the other day at our office, with interviews with our other eOneNet staff.
I had this TV interview in October 2006, so it took about 2 months before it was aired on national TV. I’ve not seen this video yet, so i’m still waiting for the TV production team to send me copy soon. Anyway, i did manage to snap some photos during my earlier recording segment with them.
As the entire program was in Malay, therefore i had to speak in Malay and managed to slot in some English terms too, as the many related Internet terms are still in the global language of English. If it was an advertisement on national TV, a 30 second commercial during prime time could easily cost US$13,000. Therefore, we’re so glad to be able to use effective Public Relations (PR) strategies like this for free.
