1st Hong Kong Blog Internet Marketing Seminar Sold Out

The 1st sold-out Hong Kong Internet marketing blog seminar was held last night at the Hong Kong Open University in Shun Tak Centre (same building as our office). Most of the participants (except 3 or 4) have attended our basic Internet marketing seminars before and a few are attending eOneNet’s Internet marketing coaching program.
My first question was how many have started a blog.
Only one participant raised the hand, and she is one of eOneNet’s Internet marketing coaching participants. This shows that though blogging is quite popular in the world, including Hong Kong, those who made use of blogs to make money or for the purposes of marketing are still very few.
Fione was again the main speaker in the seminar, passionately sharing her experience in running a blog and the multiple sources of income she is deriving from the blog. She has added some new contents since the 1st blog seminar held in Singapore in November, including demonstration of how to do posting in wordpress, and top 10 blogging mistakes.
I spoke to one of the participants after the seminar. She said she never attended eOneNet’s Internet marketing seminar before because she had some basic knowledge of internet marketing. However, she didn’t know what a blog really was so she attended our blog seminar. Her company already has a website. Now after the seminar, she is going to create a blog for her company website, after learning the tremendous benefits a blog can bring to her site.
I have always found it comforting and encouraging when hearing from participants that they can really learn something valuable from our seminars. It’s not just about the money we can make from the seminars. In fact, we can spend more time in other Internet projects and can make even more money. However, we have come to where we are today because of the great opportunities that the Internet has given to us, so we want to make some contribution back to the society by sharing our experience through teaching and coaching.

Hi Kian Ann,
Thanks for the holiday greetings! Was just in Singapore last weekend and the whole Orchard Road stretch was filled with people! Christmas is another popular shopping season and in just 1.5 hours in Takashimaya, i walked out with over S$400 purchases, and had to buy an umbrella as it started to pour last Sunday afternoon and i had to get back to my hotel across the street in order to catch my flight!
I hope that the weather is better this weekend and of course, am also thankful that we manage to meet up with so many new entrepreneurs in our blog seminar.

Please accept my heartiest congratulations on conducting successful Seminars & Coaching on Internet Marketing. Asian Markets are booming. Consumers are flush with disposable incomes. Traders are having roaring business. Internet Marketing is also catching up in Asia. Your endeavours are timely.
