New Year 2007 Insight and Karaoke Contest
By Harrace (Hong Kong)
Wow, it’s now 2007! Happy New Year to ALL and wish you success in 2007!
I joined a New Year’s Eve Count-down party in Sky Club in Hong Kong with Fione. I participated in a karaoke contest, and for the first time in my life, I was a winner (for a singing contest). Maybe I can be the next Aaron Kwok or William Hung? Watch my performance live here!
But don’t think that I can sing well. You can watch my YouTube video at
The song I sang was from Aaron Kwok, one of the four heavenly kings in Hong Kong since the 90s. Aaron is renowned for his dance moves, and he has won the Best Actor Award in the Golden Horse Movie Award in two consecutive years in 2005 and 2006.
William Hung is a miracle story. He became famous after joining the American Idol contest, not because he won the contest, but because of his reply to the sarcastic comments from one of the judges (You can’t sing! You can’t dance! Why are you here), “I’ve tried my best, and I have no regrets!” After this incident, he became even more famous than the four heavenly kings in the U.S. and Asia.
Will you try your best in 2007? I definitely will! But it’s not just a matter of trying, it’s about trying by taking effective action. And the best way to take effective action is to learn from role models, who have done and achieved what you want to achieve.
For example, if you want to learn to get top rankings in search engines, who would you choose? One who claims he can teach you how to get top rankings, but his website cannot be found in search engines for internet marketing related keywords, or another one who has dominated search engines for most Internet marketing related keywords?
May ALL your dreams come true in 2007!
