Gel nail design - Fione’s art nail
This is the first time i’ve tried out these gel nail at the nail salon in Tsim Sha Tsui on Dec 23rd. This could last even longer than your regular nail art and even after 2 weeks, they still look pretty nice.

Think of what colours you would be wearing most of the time or even choose funky season related colours.
I choose to have shimmer powders in metallic silver and rather than the regular nail tip colouring, i choose a slanted design. Then it was topped with 2 swarovski crystals, one in transparent silver and another in pink. Outlining the shimmer powders were little silver flakes (which cost extra HK$35 for both hands).
The main problem after doing these arcylic / gel nails were that it was difficult to pick on small items, such as attempting to pick up a coin from the floor. The bonus point however is that you get a shiny glossy nail and the nail art stays put so makes your nail design lasts longer.
How much does this cost? Each stone will be charged separately so the more embellishments you add on, will cost you more. This simple design costs about HK$350 (which was already their offer price). Expect the nail salon owners to sell you packages for the nail services and sadly, i also signed up, haha. I just probably have to learn to say NO.
When doing gel nails or arcylic nails, the manicurist will ask you the length of the nail extension that you are looking at so please be wary about how it would affect your regular activities. Another hidden fee is the Removal of arcylic nails fee and that can cost up to HK$200.
I would still prefer my own nails, but at this time being i’m still thinking whether i should get my nails painted by these professionals too, and a pedicure with arcylic gel will cost even more than your manicure.

I will be attending your course on 13 Jan and I was asked to read your blog and comment on the ways to generate income. Are the links or adverts in the site placed by advertisers or generated by the blogger. If these convert into sales, how do we monitor it. Thank you.

Hi Wei Tang,
Great to have you join us that day. If using blogs, you can either get a free blog at blogger.com or wordpress.com but our version here is an installed version of wordpress into our own server.
It comes with lots of benefits like eg you can display such google adwords here (just paste the codes into the sections required) and then the google advertisements will appear here automatically depending on what you write in your blog.
The income from this can be viewed from your own google adsense account.
We look forward to seeing you in our Feb blog marketing seminar in Malaysia where we’ll be sharing more blog strategies with you too.
