My Flight Diverts from Hong Kong to Taiwan Due to Severe Weather Condition
My Cathay Pacific flight to Hong Kong last night was supposed to arrive at 9:30pm. However, the plane couldn’t land because of severe weather conditions and flew to Taiwan instead!
When the plane reached Kaosiong, Taiwan, initially, there was no announcement of what’s going to happen. It’s after about 30 minutes that we were told that the plane would need to refill petrol and would expect to fly back to Hong Kong after about one hour. Some of us asked whether we could leave the plane and go to the waiting lounge. The air hostess told us we couldn’t because they had no ground staff in Kaosiong so there would be difficulties to let us leave the plane.
While we were waiting in the plane, we were served some bread and orange juice. One of the passengers still had a good appetite and asked the hostess whether there was any rice left!
We had to wait inside the plane for about two hours before the plane could take off again and headed to Hong Kong. Luckily, the weather had improved and the plane could touch down at 1:30am.
It’s been two weeks I’ve left the Hong Kong office. Expectedly, I had a busy day, approving the coming ads, online and offline for the Hong Kong Internet marketing seminars in May.

It\’s true that weather nowadays are very unpredictable. It\’s probably due to the global warming where large blocks of ice are melting in the North pole

Is it true that the Earth already has a hole in it? If it is, shouldn’t we have a campaign to prevent it from worstening? Just like before a fire actually breaks out, there are fire drill practices.

Let\’s not be overly carried away by so many of the \’scientific\’ reports blaming so many things on \’global warming\’, rather, we should understand nature more.

Perhaps we should reflect on ourselves as we are the ones who’s causing global warming. Although we can’t prevent natural disasters, we should not help in creating more man-made ones.

I have my unforgetable experience with air flight also.
Airasia is my prefer airlines for the routes within Malaysia. The service is O.K. but the stewardesses are just beautiful, which make your whole journey feel fresh and joyful.
But the things change when I have my trip to Miri last month. I come out from house 10.30a.m to get bus from KL Sentral to LCCT. However, the toll at Sungai Besi jammed for half hours and I reach LCCT at 1p.m
My flight to Miri is 1.40pm and I just feel my luckiness of not to be late.
But when I reach the counter for check-in, the fellow told me I already miss the flight! The check in time must be 45 minutes before and no compromise can be made.
This make me made because I have important meeting that night.
I rush to the ticket booking counter and grab for the last ticket for the evening flight.
Guess what…..
It cost me triple of my original flight ticket.
So if anyone is taking Air Asia, make sure you get there half day before…… bring nasi lemak also…… the food there is expensive and no nice.
Have a nice day!

Hi to all,
When I was in Chicago in 1998 I experienced an aircraft which was about to take off then suddenly one of the engine died…All of us are forced to stay in the aircraft while they try to repair the faulty engine…it was so stuffy and worse they just serve us orange juice…..if only we could then log in to the net we might not complain! We are not internet ready at that time to be hooked up while on the plane or else just imagine people won’t be bothered about the plane…their eyes only glued to the laptop or maybe someone will take a snapshot and send through their BLOG! We could never imagine….Maybe someone will craft out an idea just like what Richard Branson did after his flight was delay….
