Make Money Online the Salsa Way

“Can a normal person make money online?”
This is the question posed by the Star to Fione, in a written interview last week. This is in fact a commonly asked question.
Most people know that there are gigantic making money opportunities on the Internet. Most people want to make money online (in particular, 99% of people attending eOneNet’s Internet marketing seminars expressed a strong desire to make money online during the seminar). But how come not everyone has started an Internet business, and not everyone is making money online?
You may get the insight for the answer via dancing Salsa!Fione has been trying to diet, in particular for our big day on 9 June so that she can fit into her stunning Internet-themed wedding gown with one thousand pieces of Swarovski crystals. Our friend Colbert Low, a Malaysian Problogger has started doing Salsa and suggested this is a better alternative. Since our plan is to throw a unique wedding party, we found it an exciting idea to dance Salsa during the event.
So upon Colbert’s recommendation, we attended a crash course on Salsa, with personal instructor Jeamie, from SalsaJay.com
Neither Fione nor I are good at dancing. However, we share the same goal - to perform one 2-minute dance on 9 June. In order to achieve this goal, we have planned to take 4 to 5 one-hour class with Jeamie.
Before the class, we didn’t know what is Salsa. We thought it’s a kind of Latin dance. Being Salsa newbies, we had to start with the basic steps in the first class. The basic steps are simple to learn. But it’s not just a matter of knowing the steps. It’s a matter of practising.
After learning the basic steps, we need to do some Salsa moves. For the first class, we learned 3 different sets of steps.
After the first class, we didn’t have time to practice at all. So during the second class, we needed to practise the three steps we learned for about 30 minutes, before moving on to learn another 3 different sets of steps.
We were back to Hong Kong for one week, before coming back to KL last weekend, when we forgot most of the steps, because we didn’t have time to practise at all! So we had to spend another 30 minutes to do the 6 set of steps again. Then we were on to another 2 new sets of steps.
In the 4th class, we practised the 8 sets of steps we learned, which is our limit due to lack of time. In the final class yesterday, which lasted from 9:30pm till midnight, Jeamie helped us composed the dance moves into our selected song, finally!
So we have learned the steps for one song, but the challenge to find time to practise, practise and practise.
Making money online is similar to dancing salsa. Everyone who can move can learn to dance Salsa, if got the desire. Similarly, everyone who can use the computer to type and surf the Internet can learn to make money online, if got the compelling desire.
Learning the basics of Salsa is not difficult. It’s a matter of practising, practising and practising the steps till it becomes natural. Lack of time to practise is not an excuse, if you can find a compelling reason to practise.
Similarly, learning the basics of Internet marketing is not difficult. It’s a matter of doing, doing, and doing. Lack of time to do is not an excuse, if you can find a compelling reason to do it.
Of course, getting a good Salsa instructor like Jeamie has shortened our Salsa learning curve. Similarly, getting a good Internet marketing coach can also shorten your Internet learning curve. So can a normal person make money on the Internet?
If a normal person (like me, a complete newbie) can learn how to dance Salsa in 5 hours, with a good Salsa instructor, a normal person can also learn how to make money online in 3 months, with a good Internet marketing coach! The key is not in knowing, but in practising and keep doing!

Harrace, I\’m glad you made the first move to come to dance salsa…I\’m still learning too…Its my second month of salsa lessons…I hope I have the stamina to continue doing it…Please record your salsa dance and post it on your blog later. I want to see you and Fione bogey…..

We will surely record the dance. Hope we can remember the dance moves, as we don’t have time to practise. Now is 1:23am, I am rushing for the Chinese translation project for an Europe client, and Fione is still working out the seating plan for the wedding!

SALSA is a very good example!!! Which can be apply to our ebusiness…
When things start at the begining is the hardest!
But once u got a good coach/teacher, by learning from the basic and move your step onto it….
there might have some stone to stop the way you are going..
But Learn from mistake and Practice make perfection is the most important…

It\’s very true,Harrace, the saying goes\’if you have the will, you will find the way\’. I am also very new to internet marketing,in fact just learning how to use the computer. Because I have a strong desire to learn and I want to make money through internet, I am working very hard every day
to practise and apply what has been coached. I am optimistic I can achieve it soon…if you have the will, you have the way.
