How To Avoid Internet Credit Card Fraud

Saturday, July 14th, 2007

Posted by Harrace, Senior Internet Marketing Coach

Last week, we received an order for e1Net Wireless mouse rechargeable for 7 units, from a customer in Taiwan.

Here is the order:

How To Avoid Internet Credit Card Fraud

As an experienced Internet marketer, I noted something fishy in this order. So I instructed my account person to call this person to verify the order, who managed to speak to the customer on the phone. This customer said he used his friend’s card to pay for the purchase. However, I am still not satisfied and instructed our receiving bank to check with the card issuer’s bank to verify the transaction with the actual card holder. Guess what?

1st CEF Hong Kong Internet Marketing Course FULL HOUSE

Friday, July 13th, 2007

Posted by Harrace, Senior Internet Marketing Coach

LASTEST UPDATE: eOneNet.com’s CEF Hong Kong Certificate in Practical Internet Marketing webpage now launched. CLICK HERE!

The 1st Hong Kong CEF approved Internet Marketing Coaching Program to start on 21 July is now FULL HOUSE. In fact, I just noted that it’s over-booked and we don’t have enough computers in the lab that we’ve booked.

Don’t worry, we have anticipated an overwhelming response and have reserved another lab in Open University which has more computers.

However, we are NOT accepting any more registrations for the 1st batch. If you want to grab the opportunity to kick-start your Internet business successfully, like the other successful stories we are sharing in this blog, you would need to register for the 2nd class to commence on 6 October.

If you are not serious enough, you can come up with any reason or excuse to delay starting your Internet business. The difference between the super successful and the miserable, is the ability to take effective action, NOW! And now with the sponsorship of up to HK$10,000 by CEF, can you still afford to wait?

The New 7 Wonders of the World Results Announced

Monday, July 9th, 2007

Posted by Harrace, Senior Internet Marketing Coach

If you have read newspapers or watched BBC news in the last week, you would know that the new 7 Wonders of the World has been in the headlines.

Just some background in case you have been hibernating or living in a cage. Most of the original 7 Wonders of the World were destroyed or not exist any longer and an organisation came forward to launch the campaign for anyone worldwide to vote for the new 7 Wonders, through online, phone calls and SMS. As a result, more than 90 millions votes were recorded!

The voting ended last Saturday and I just found out the results from the official site. See if you agree with the results, which are controversial, understandably, as it involves the dignity and face of different countries, religion and alike.

Here are the results from www.new7wonders.com

Chichén Itzá, Mexico

Christ Redeemer, Brazil

The Great Wall, China

Machu Picchu, Peru

Petra, Jordan

Roman Colloseum, Italy

The Taj Mahal, India

The results (including some of the finalists) can be controversial. The Great Wall of China may be an undisputed candidate. What is your opinion on this new 7 Wonders?

Putting aside this list, the other reason I posted this article is this is another example of Internet viral marketing. Owing to the Internet, anyone in the world with access to the Internet could vote, and because of the immense interest this campaign has managed to create, it spreads like virus and within a short period of time, more than 90 million votes were registered worldwide!

Have you got another viral idea?

070707 - Kota Kinabalu Internet Marketing Seminar

Saturday, July 7th, 2007

Posted by Harrace, Senior Internet Marketing Coach

It’s not 007 I am talking about. It’s 070707 - 7 July, 07 today, which doesn’t happen very often right?

I happened to be in Kota Kinabalu with Fione today, conducting an Internet Marketing seminar this morning. Our last trip to this beautiful land (or is this an Island?) was more than one year ago. This morning, a group of zealous Internet would-be entrepreneurs listened to Fione’s presentation attentively.

One of the participants, a teacher, said he has been visiting eOneNet.com’s websites daily for quite a long time, and that’s why he grabbed the opportunity to listen to us in person. At the end of the seminar, he purchased our popular Internet Marketing Video Megapack.

Another participant is a manufacturer of office furnitures, who has been selling locally only. He is interested to sell online but seemed to have a lot of obstacles, ranging from the question of getting an export license, up to how he should be collecting payment online. But this does not stop him from signing up for our Internet Marketing Coaching program to be held in KL in September.

I had the impression that KK is an island because normally after work, I would stay at one of the beach hotels (but Fione assured me that this was no small island). This afternoon, I have checked in Nexus Resort Karambunai, one of my favourite hotels. Last time when I was here, I dropped my Gucci Sunglass into the sea while swimming, and couldn’t find it!

We’ve stayed in most of the popular resorts & hotels in Kota Kinabalu. Nexus Karambunai apart from having a white, long beach, also have great golf facilities and an even more awesome spa. This hotel is about 40 minutes away from the city centre.

Our first stay in Kota Kinabalu a few years back was in the Shangri-La Tanjung Aru Hotel. We even got to do some island hopping then. Another popular KK resort that we have stayed is the Sutera Harbour, where there is use free shuttle bus to commute between the Magellan Sutera Harbour and the Pacific Sutera Harbour. There is a popular Mandara Spa. In both hotels, we stayed at the Club Room and used their club floor facilities such as the evening cocktails.

Another favourite past time here is to eat Fresh Seafood. Last night, we had a red loster & coral trout fish for dinner at the Ocean Seafood along Jalan Api-Api (just beside Promenade Hotel). Now, while waiting for my lunch at Nexus’ Penyu Coffee House, i’m typing out the blog. I can’t wait to go for a quick dive into the sea!

Update: After posting this article, I noted from cover stories in various newspaper that 777 happens once in 100 years and people all round the world used this date for special events, including wedding, but most of the stuffs were such as flowers, venues were double the price. Fione even has a pregnant friend who wanted to give birth on this date, but just that the doctor was on leave so she had to give birth one day before!

Ruby, who bought eOneNet’s Internet Marketing Video - Internet Marketing Coaching DVD Megapack one year ago, and has already made half a million dollars online! She shared her experience in a video here, in Chinese.

I’ve also interviewed her further to this Internet marketing video. For the benefits of those who can’t read Chinese, I’ve translated her reply to English.  Here you are.

Singapore Internet Marketing Seminar Ad Copies eOneNet

Tuesday, July 3rd, 2007

Posted by Harrace, Senior Internet Marketing Coach

While I was on board Singapore Airlines this afternoon flying from Hong Kong to Singapore, I noticed an ad in Strait Times promoting another Internet Marketing seminar. What caught my attention was the headline of the ad, part of which was substantially similar to the headline of the Internet marketing seminar ad eOneNet has been using since 2003.

The relevant part of the headline was “…How You Can Start Your Own Internet Business And Make Real Money Online …..” whereas our headline is: (more…)

Hong Kong Fireworks video on July 1, 2007

Sunday, July 1st, 2007

Posted by Fione Tan, Head Internet Marketing Coach

I’ve just recorded the live fireworks display of the Hong Kong celebration of 10 years anniversary of the handover on July 1, 2007. The video was captured tonight from the 59th floor, of The Arch, Kowloon, which happened to be the swimming pool floor.

You can also watch the Hong Kong fireworks video here:-

Apart from the fireworks display that were blasted from ships in the sea, there were also many shots of fireworks from commercial buildings from Central & WanChai. The fireworks can be clearly seen alongside the Hong Kong night view of the Victoria Harbour.

Congratulations to Hong Kong’s 10th Anniversary!

Sunday, July 1st, 2007

Posted by Harrace, Senior Internet Marketing Coach

It’s Hong Kong’s 10th Anniversary of hand-over to China and becoming Hong Kong Special Administrative Zone (HKSAR) today. Congratulations!

Despite in the last 10 years, Hong Kong has gone through the Asia financial crisis, SARS, and other unexpected events, Hong Kong still remains one of the most competitive countries in Asia and the leading finance centre. According to statistics from the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, over the past 10 years, Hong Kong’s external trade has almost doubled to HK$5 trillion, and the GDP per capita has also increased to nearly US$28,000.

This is due to the entrepreneurial and “Just do it” spirit of Hong Kong people, who are never content of what they have and will strive to do whatever it takes to be successful.

To join the celebration, China President Hu Jing Tao arrived at Hong Kong yesterday. This showed the great support of China government on the development of Hong Kong.

eOneNet.com has made a wise decison to set up a Hong Kong company last year. Within one short year, we are excited that eOneNet has become the No.1 Hong Kong Internet Marketing Company, providing one-stop Internet marketing services and Internet marketing coaching. This is a milestone for our expansion plan in China.

Wish Hong Kong (and eOneNet) continuous success and prosperity!
