When there are clicks but no sales, it shows one of more of the followings:

1. Your product does not have a USP
2. You don't have a good offer to entice visitors to buy NOW
3. The sale process got problems, e.g the visitors cannot find the buy now button, it takes too many clicks before they can get to the order form, the online payment system is too difficult to use etc.

Yes the 2 extra points by Blog Marketing are also valid.

Correct, if you have bad copywriting on your adwords, then you will have lesser clicks or end up attracting the wrong crowd.
- if your adwords has bad performance on the no. of clicks, then google can even deactivate your ad

There are many useful tracking in the Google Adwords report and just to fully understand each item there, you need to spend some time.

Good contents about Google Adwords.

May I add 2 more points:
1) Poor copywriting on the adwords
- Most of the time, people don't want to click on the ad that look poor quality and didn't deliver the right message.

2) No proper tracking on the campaign
- Again, this is very important part as you need to keep track from time to time whether the ads are performing or not. Otherwise, it is just a waste of money and yet you don't know where went wrong.

Hello,
From my understanding, why there is clicks but no income/pay. Because as you say when someone click the Google Adwords even they don't buy we will get paid. Pay-per-click as I understood. Thanks.

Hello Internet Marketers,

Our compony has been using google AdWords from day one! From our experience it has given us the most conversion of all our campaigns. Fione has given some great tips! One example I could share is to monitor your ad copy and test various ad’s to see which is performing the best. Sometimes a high performing ad will stop working, this means that there is a change in the market and you need to come up with some new copy. You will also find that you will get better ad position at less cost if the ad is performing well.

Google has a great learning centre you can visit at;
