Internet Marketing Coach Live Webcast from Hong Kong

Monday, May 26th, 2008

Posted by Harrace, Senior Internet Marketing Coach

With the availability of technology now (which is free to use), I conducted a seminar over the Internet via webcast to a group of train-the-trainer participants in Malaysia yesterday.

For the benefit of newbies, webcast is like video conferencing performed via the Internet. The speaker and the audience located in different places can see and hear each other talk.

In the past, we will need to do this by renting video conference facilities which cost a few thousand dollars per hour. But now, this can be done free on the Internet! What you need is to have a headset microphone (like the e1Net headset microphone you can purchase on our site at US$12 per piece or US$18 for one pair only) and to download Skype.

My presentation was “Building a Million Dollar Training Business Via Internet Marketing”.

The participants were from the Malaysia Train-the-Trainer Program conducted by the Quest Group and personally trained by KC See.

I shared eOneNet’s experience of building a multi-million dollar regional company via training, and selling various products, some related to our business of Internet marketing and some totally unrelated.

At the same time, Fione Tan was doing a live seminar entitled: 1 Day Web 2.0 for Millionaires with a group of 50 participants in our KL computer lab, which reveals new ways of Internet marketing using web 2.0 websites, such as FaceBook, MySpace, YouTube, also known as social media marketing. This seminar is currently only available in Malaysia and Singapore.

One of the the fastest and easiest way to make money online with your website or blog, is by joining the Google Adsense program. However, there are many designs ( we call them the google adsense ad formats ), so which are the ones that are producing the highest revenues for you?

According to research, Google.com listed the following ad formats as the best performing versions.

a. 336×280 Large Rectangle

b. 300×250 Medium Rectangle,

c. 160×600 Wide Skyscraper

Wider formats of google adsense also enabled the readers the ease to view your ads and webpages. Have you tried the 3 sample ad formats above in your site or blog?

Sunday, May 11th, 2008

Posted by Harrace, Senior Internet marketing coach

Wow, this is the second weekend of eOneNet.com’s Internet marketing coaching program in Hong Kong!  Some of the participants have already started their websites or blogs from scratch within the first month!

Some samples of new blogs are:

Kitty’s 1HKFlowerFruit.blogspot.com - selling flowers and fruit baskets in Hong Kong

Amy’s HongKongCakes.blogspot.com - selling yummy cakes (and it’s really yummy as I tried already!)

Eric’s Bazitips.blogspot.com - Want to find out when you will make your first million online? Check your bazi here!

No products to sell? No problem! You can also make money online with different business models including using blogs, and even free blogs!

For the non-techies, they may find it challenging to create their first blog, and how to upload pictures and videos.

Most of the students also face another challenge - what to write. However, we have revealed fool-proof ways to add contents to your blogs, even without yourself writing a lot.

Let’s see what some of the participants have learned from our coaching!

Internet Marketing Coach Reveals B2B Marketing Secrets

Wednesday, May 7th, 2008

Posted by Harrace, Senior Internet marketing coach

The monthly education topic for the eBusiness Club meeting held in our Hong Kong eOneNet Centre yesterday was “B2B Marketing Success Tips”. This is where the big money lies online, as one order can be for tons of products.

We started off by showing how to make money with B2B, as manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors or trading agents. There are various online tools to help B2B marketers to identify hot B2B products searches, and in particular, where to locate volume buyers.

These searches can be done in B2B portals. The best one we are using, and it’s free, is NOT alibaba.com, but another popular one which can tell you the popular related searches. For example, if you are searching for jewelry, they will tell you the related popular searches (which are not those we thought): jewelry offers, jewelry importers etc.

Some of these portals also enable you to find volumn buyers. For example, in one of these portals, I found out there is a buyer from Egypt who wants to buy 50 tons of frozen food. So how can you make money if you are not selling this type of frozen food?

You can act as a trading agent, and find sellers who are selling this kind of stuffs, and tell them you have a customer from Egypt who is looking to buy the stuffs and ask if they are interested.

Another alternative is to post a buying lead to buy this kind of stuffs and let interested sellers to contact you. So in no time, you can be doing B2B trading!

Other B2B marketing stratgies we reveal include search engine marketing, video marketing, and blog marketing. If you can master these strategies, you will surely have a competitive edge against your competitors, the majority of which are only using one or two of these strategies.

What is the shortcut to Internet success? Get Internet Marketing Coach  Fione Tan to coach you, of course!

Internet Marketing Coach Tips - What to sell online?

Monday, May 5th, 2008

Posted by Harrace, Senior Internet marketing coach

A whopping 80% of those who attended eOneNet Internet marketing seminars, and even our popular Internet marketing coaching course conducted in Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore do not have any ideas what to sell.

This is no brainer if you are able to find out what does your target market want using online research tools (most of them are free). You will need to use different tools for different countries. For example, the tools we use for the UK market is different from the US market, or the Hong Kong market, or the China market.

These tools enables us to find out not just how many searches for keywords are done per month, but also the popularity of different types of products under the same category. For example, if you want to sell jewelry, you need to decide to sell which type of jewelry, e.g diamond, silver, gold, fashion jewelry etc. Before you decide on this, you will need to use the online tools to find out which type is in highest demand online.

Once you identify the type of jewelry with the highest demand online, e.g fashion jewelry, then you can do sourcing online using search engines, dropship directory, and B2B portals like alibaba.com.

The physical products eOneNet.com is selling include N95 Masks or Bird Flu Masks, e1Net wireless rechargeable mouse, e1Net Skype ready Headset microphone etc

These tools are equally applicable for other business models such as:

1. Sell services

You can also use the Internet to sell and/or promote services, and even get customers from overseas. For example, we regularly got customers engage us from overseas to offer Internet marketing services to help them promote certain products in a particular country.

E.g. one UK university hired us to do email marketing to get people to visit their exhibition booth in Taiwan. Another popular shoe brand in Europe engaged us to do search engine marketing for their stores in Japan, which resulted in their sales increase by 180% within 3 months!

Another highly successful eOneNet coaching graduate is Alice Sy, who is now running a very successful online domestic helper agency in Hong Kong, www.1maidhk.com . Although a local website, she’s also getting customers from Spain, Bahamas etc.

2. Sell Software

This is a very lucrative thing to sell, as once you paid for the development costs, you pratically have little costs in selling the software online. eOneNet’s software includes the DIY SEO Site Builder and web audio recording software.

Another highly successful eOneNet coaching graduate is Christopher Tam, who has made US$36,000 within 2 months of attending the course, by selling a small percentage of shares of his new website at www.klantcrm.com, selling CRM software. I believe he will be our next Millionaire graduate before the end of this year.

There are at least 5 more making money models online, some of which can be made auto-run.

Hong Kong Train the Trainer Reveals Seminar Marketing Secrets

Sunday, May 4th, 2008

Posted by Harrace, Senior Internet marketing coach

What an exciting and fun-filled 2nd weekend for the 1st run of Certified Professional Trainers in Hong Kong, jointly organised by Quest Group and eOneNet.com!

Other than organising this class, I also have the privilege of attending the class as a participant, which is an eye opener for me, even though I’ve been a trainer doing Internet marketing coaching for more than 8 years.

One of the things that I learned is there are 5 levels of trainers. The levels are categorised accordingly to their ability to help participants make change, and to measure and deliver results.

Level 1 trainers are “Happy Sheet” trainers, which assess the participants by getting them to fill up a questionnaire to find out whether they are “happy” at the end of the training (such as to the program materials, the trainer skills, the food etc)

Many of the trainers in Asia who have been in this field for many years are only Level 1 trainers, which is called the “Happy Sheet” trainer. But they don’t measure results after the training.

I also started off as a Level 1 trainer 8 years old. Now I am moving towards the Level 5, the highest level which can measure and deliver return on investments (ROI) on the training program. More importantly, I learned the detailed system how to achieve this goal.

Do you agree there is a difference between a good trainer and a better trainer? Even a greater difference between a good one from a great one?  After attending this class, I’ve got the system to further enhance and improve eOneNet’s Internet marketing coaching program so as to help the participants create even better results.

Let’s hear what some other participants have to say:

Christopher Tam, Aspiring Black Belt Six Sigma Trainer

Henrietta Woo, Manager of Training company

Rufus Yeung, Management Trainer
