Hangzhou Internet Marketing China seminar on Labour Day
Posted by Harrace, Senior Internet marketing coach
eOneNet presented the 1st Internet marketing Hangzhou seminar on 1 May, 2010, which was the 5.1 Labour Day holiday. This seminar was co-organised with the Hangzhou eCommerce Association and Hangzhou Information Bureau.
Fione’s presentation on Web2.0 Internet Marketing for SMEs was much awaited. She pointed out the current ways most China companies are marketing on the Internet, which are expensive and with high recurring fee, not to mention the cost effectiveness is limited. For big companies, they won’t find this a problem as they have deep pockets. However, for SMEs, this is an intimidation, as a result, only about 10% of the companies in Hangzhou are now engaging in Internet advertising China.
The solution is for the SMEs to learn how to use new ways of Internet marketing, such as social media, which is still a new concept to the China companies, even though this is already very popular in Asia and the West.

I agree the trend of using internet in China is growing, so we should learn more techniques to build business online; and also finding a good internet coach is important.
