In some scenarios, business owners complain that their current business is not doing well and that entire industry is going downwards. Doesn’t it make sense to then start a new business in a new industry rather than focus your energy in a sunset industry?

2) Target Worldwide Customers – Global Market

The worldwide market online is definitely larger than our local market. Why should you only sell to the 17 million internet population in Malaysia while there are bigger markets like USA or China that has over 420 million in internet population?

To target worldwide customers, it means your website should be multi-lingual and you should accept multi-currencies online payment. If your current website is only available in English, you should add in Chinese languages if you wish to target China, Taiwan or Hong Kong. However, when deciding on how to design your website, it is crucial that the website can support such requirements. After the 3-day World SME Expo 2010 in HK Convention Centre, we conducted an Internet marketing seminar in our HK centre today. Despite it’s a Sunday, there were still quite a number of participants attending.

I was delivering the presentation, while Joyce, Ivy, and Karen were kind enough to be back to assist. The participants were very serious in learning how to make money online, as they spent their Sunday afternoon to learn. So it’s no surprise that 50% of the class took some form of action at the end of the day!

eOneNet – Internet Marketing Forums

In the various internet marketing and ebusiness forums that eOneNet has been invited to for 2010, we noticed that there are typically some differences between Internet Marketing China forums versus those in Internet Marketing Singapore or Internet Marketing Malaysia forums.

First difference is that slides used in China internet marketing forums are normally very text heavy while Malaysia and Singapore internet marketing forums or conferences have a balanced image versus text display

Second difference is the time management… so even if you are expected to present in any internet marketing conference, expect delays but in China, the delay can be up to 1 hour!

Thirdly, always reconfirm your name, topic and schedule of presentation with the co-ordinator and MC especially if you are on a tight timing deadline. In the recent Guangzhou ebusiness forum, the MC switched my slot with another speaker and that caused the problem as the new timing clashed with another ebusiness presentation that i was supposed to speak at, so don’t take things or granted.

 Sometimes you will see repeated statistics or info, so as a presenter, we try to skip ideas that was shared earlier (so not to bore the listeners) and then add in our own comments or additional strategies based on questions & answers thrown to the earlier speakers.

国际网络营销教练刘学聪解读网络营销实战经验

  网销开始普及,不少中小企业报读「国际网络营销贸易实战班」增加相关知识。有网络营销顾问除开班授课外,更兼营网销,运用自已实战经验讲课,加强竞争力。

 瞄准中小企业开班

网络营销顾问eOneNet首席顾问刘学聪表示,市场竞争愈来愈大,公司除跟贴新市场动态外,也兼营网销,利用实战经验授课最为实际。该公司网销产品包括护膺品、软件等,一年收入逾500万元。 经常开班授课的刘学聪,接触不少中小企业学员。他说,在公司开设的网络营销课程中,40% 学员来自中小企业,有不少中小企业管理层完成课程后﹒没有在实际营商环境中实践网销技巧。

 促专人更新网页多看销售网

    刘学聪寄语中小企业「认真做] 如安排专人处理互联总行销(e- marketing ) ,包括更新网页资料、回复客户查询利用各种渠道推广产品等。 另外,市场调查亦不可忽略。他建议企业可到著名的网上销售平台,如eBay 、消费网等寻找热门商品,作为参考,再配合自己的业务,推出切合网销市场的产品。他又强调企业不能闭门造车,要多参考外国网站。 现时不少中小企业尝试在网上卖广告,但广告费与收入未必成正比。刘学聪举例,若中小企业花1 万元在网上卖广告,带来1 .2万元收入,该部分资源可持续. 反之如果只有5 000元收入, 应把资源集中于提升公司网站在搜引擎中的排名。 如何才能提升网站排名?他教路,网站要迎合搜引擎的排名规则,如网页设计要有心思,文字不能太少,要增关键字,也要留意搜寻器较难确认Flash效果,上载的影片及图片也要在适当位置加上关键字,提高被家搜寻的机会。

    相比关键字广告,他认为,透过关键字搜寻供应商的家,质素较高,单额也较大。 「中小企业在搜索结果的排名提升,买家会认为其产品受欢迎, 有多人搜,自然有信心]他指,曾有设娱乐公司的学生,购买按广告点击次数费的关键字广告’2天花76元,后来他利用免费方法化网站,并加入关键字,提高在搜引擎的排名。 2个月后已高首位,更吸引澳门酒店洽谈,签了为期1 年的数十元合约。在马来西亚起家的eOneNet 4年前进军港,刘学聪认为,港人欠缺耐性,好赚快钱, 中小企必须付出定时间及心力经营网,才能在市场分一杯羹。

深圳开班[货不对板]可退款

   内地市场宠大,刘学聪说,为方便管理及节省资源,公司站稳脚后,会发展特许经营业务,在内地各省市招揽特许经销商。

网络营销皇后陈美仪解答企业国际网络营销难题

          同样是开网店,当更多人还在为如何增加流量而大伤脑筋时,在香港、马来西亚、新加坡、甚至国内,已有一批个人和中小企跳出了国内竞争圈,把产品卖到了国际市场,同样的商品,卖到海外,赚取的是美金,利润翻倍。如何敲开国际市场大门,可是有窍门的!本刊邀请了国际网络营销专家eOneNet行政总裁陈美仪,为网商们“把把脉”。
    做国际营销 利润高出3—10倍
        李小姐(淘宝双钻店主):我在淘宝开店已经有3年了,现在是双钻卖家,专营女装。我面对的最大问题是竞争激烈,利润很低,不能真的赚钱。如何才能既保持竞争力,又提高利润?我现在只是兼职,没有很多时间寻找合适货源及处理送货,这个问题也让我很为难。
陈美仪:这个问题很普遍,在国内做网络营销会面临很多难题,如果要增加利润,必须做一些对手不做或少做的事。例如当大部分卖家都做国内市场时,你可以学习如何开拓国际市场,把产品卖给海外买家。国际网络营销相对国内营销的好处是,第一,国际市场更广阔,比国内市场大10倍;第二,国际销售的利润是国内的3—10倍。例如一条牛仔裤在淘宝卖49元人民币,但在美国eBay 网卖59美元,价格相差8倍。
其实国内网商做国际销售有很大优势,首先,与国外竞争对手相比,中国产品成本更低,价格有竞争力;其次,与国内竞争对手相比,目前做国际销售的还很少,可相对提升利润。
学习网站优化技巧让网站免费排在首页
    王小姐(外贸公司老板):2000年我在义乌开了个外贸公司,如今已有10年历史,我们找国外客户的方式有几个,一是参加展会,但现在参展费用越来越高,找到好的买家也不太容易。二是聘请外贸营销人员,但优秀的外贸营销人才太少了。目前,公司最头疼的就是如何有效地找到国外客户,增加订单量。
陈美仪:现今大多成功的外贸公司,除了使用传统的营销渠道外,也学习利用不同的网络营销渠道,这种方式成本低,成效好。我有一位做外贸的学生,最初也面临类似问题,后来通过学习,她做了一个营销型的网站,还学会了国际搜索引擎免费排名在首页的技巧。之后的三个月,她没花一分推广费,却在网上接到一个韩国客户,拿到了一个价值2万多美元的小货柜订单。
根据调查,现在超过80%的国外买家是通过Google 用英语关键字找寻货源及供应商,所以你的网站上必须有中文及英语,还要学习一些优化网站的技巧,让网站能免费排名在第一页,让国外买家很容易找到你。

没产品 照样能网上创业
        黄先生 (大学生):我每天都花大量时间上网,看到很多网上创业成功的案例,我也非常渴望网上创业,但我没有产品,也没有很多资金,不知如何开始?
陈美仪:网上创业其实并不需要自己有产品,而有一些方式是低成本的,包括:一是做网上代理。广州有一个大学二年级的学生,他决定在网上卖投影机。他先在网上找到了一些供应商,但他不需要进货,而是在网上接到订单和货款后,才向供应商购买,他所有的成本只是做了一个简单的网站。重点是他学会了如何通过搜索引擎让自己的排名靠前的技巧,这样客户可以主动找到他,而他不用花广告费。
二是参加网上联盟计划。这种方式最先在国外流行,其中最成功的是 Amazon.com。它通过这个计划,招收了超过100万个网上联盟代理人,这些代理人只需要在他们的网站推介Amazon上的产品,如果有客户通过他们的网站访问Amazon并进行购物,代理人可以获得4%—15%的佣金。网上联盟代理人的好处是可以从Amazon 挑选任何产品做推广,不需要进货,也不用负责货物的包装和运输。我有很多学生的网上创业都是采用这种方式,优势是可以利用Amazon的品牌,赚取美元。做得较好的一个学生,一个月的收入高达五位数(美元)。
国际网络营销 要善用大型视频、社区网站
        何先生(生产商营销经理):我们公司老板对网络不熟悉,也对网购没有信心,因此我很难申请到要做网上营销的费用,我不知该如何说服老板,让他支持我的网络营销建议?
陈美仪:虽然电子商务网络营销早已是企业的生存之道,但国内还是有很多的企业老板没有重视,治本的方法是首先让这些企业老板开窍,愿意接受并学习网络营销策略。然后再学习如何分配资源,把网络营销做好。如今电子商务是大势所趋,企业也需要适时引进网站运营人才,并加强网络营销技巧的学习。可以让他们参加一些电子商务类的讲座,接触一些电子商务类企业的成功案例,再参加国际网络营销的培训,Knowledge is power (有知识才有力量)。
杨先生 (中小企业老板):我曾经参加过一些国内的网络营销培训,也学到一些网络营销盈利模式与策略,对我的国内销售也有一些帮助,但对拓展海外市场好像没有什么效果,国际网络营销方式与国内的有什么不同?
陈美仪:国内网络营销国际网络营销基本概念是相同的,例如决定网上盈利模式、网站优化、网站内容文案编写、电邮营销、视频营销、社交营销等,但国内使用平台与国际不同,应用的技巧也不一样。如果百度是中国搜索引擎的“一哥”,那Google就是国际搜索引擎的“老大”。据调查,Google每月搜索量比百度多10倍。Google 的网站优化技巧与百度是不同的,而全球浏览量最大的视频网站Youtube 及社区网站Facebook, 是国际网络营销必须善用的工具。在选择培训师的时候,要甄别出真正熟悉国际网络营销的培训师,才能对开拓国际市场学以致用。
