Wow, i’ve just returned home from my Hong Kong wedding reception this evening. The past couple of days were hectic, rushing madly for last minute items. I still even had time to shop the whole day on Saturday & only came back home at 9pm, and less than 24 hours before my wedding today on Sunday.

To share the stories on the days leading to and after my wedding, I’ve launched a wedding blog at http://www.9Weddings.com.

This wedding blog will also include reviews of bridal services from Asia including Malaysia, Singapore, China & Hong Kong.

Roti Canai with banana sells for RM1.5 in Malaysia. The same roti canai sells for HK$28 (RM14) in Hong Kong, which is about 10 times more expensive! And it’s selling like hot cakes! I’ve shot a video showing this smart dressing roti canai man showing off his skills. Watch it here. (more…)

Wow, the Year of Boar (the animal sign for this Chinese New Year) has arrived!

We would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very HAPPY & PROSPEROUS CHINESE NEW YEAR!

Here are some good fortune Chinese greetings with the word “boar (豬)” in Chinese.

• 豬籠入水 (boar cage filled with water, i.e. with a lot of money pouring in)
• 豬肥屋潤 (boar fat and house fertiled, i.e. with a lot of valuable house contents)

Google is in the process of freeing up their email restrictions to accept all comers, nearly 3 years after they shook up the internet world by offering users an unprecedented amount of free storage and displaying ads based on contents of the correspondences.

This is the first time i’ve tried out these gel nail at the nail salon in Tsim Sha Tsui on Dec 23rd. This could last even longer than your regular nail art and even after 2 weeks, they still look pretty nice.

Think of what colours you would be wearing most of the time or even choose funky season related colours.

Wow, it’s now 2007! Happy New Year to ALL and wish you success in 2007!

This was the first year i’m visiting the Hong Kong Brands & Products Expo on 30 Dec 2006. This is open till 10pm and is like a night market concept (like Malaysia’s pasar malam). You can visit this fair each year at the Victoria Park in Causeway Park.

Here is my picture at the entrance of the fair.

You will need to buy a ticket for entry and that is only about HK$10, then you will get a catalog with discount vouchers and contest forms too.

Dress to walk comfortably as you’ll need to pass through lots of people and booths.
