During the first week of February, eOneNet KL office team members enjoyed Hi-Tea at Nikko Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. Here are some snapshots of our happy momments then.

There was a variety of local and international food, but not as extensive as a full buffet. Some team members were unable to make it for the gathering so the rest of us took lots of photos.

What is the best birthday gift you have ever received? For some individuals, birthday gifts are a vital part of their celebration, while for some others, they do not even celebrate their birthdays.

For me, birthday gifts are very important, and during my younger years, I tend to see how unique each gift would be and its price. Among my expensive gifts received included diamond jewelry, and apparels. However, as I became more mature, I realized that it was not the monetary value of the item that mattered.

It was raining cats and dogs, and I made my way to the StarHill Gallery for my birthday dinner. Parked my car at the Mariott Hotel jockey, and I even had time to browse through the new Louis Vuitton store in StarHill.

Yes, that’s right, I’ve just turned one year older in middle November. The day in the office was quite normal and then right after our in-house software training, as I was just about to leave the office, my office team surprised me by singing a Happy Birthday song.

Last Friday was the annual dinner of the Branding Malaysia Association at the KLCC Convention Center, and being their new member, i’ve also joined their event. This new convention center is located just next to the popular KLCC shopping mall, but you should not park in the KLCC shopping mall as the walk is very far.

Check out the display of ballons that night, made up of balloons, similar in colour to the Malaysian flag. The main focus of the association was to brand Malaysian products, and companies to the World. On that night, I had 2 interesting incidents.

Today is a public holiday for the state of Selangor, but i’m back to the office today, for the shooting of 2 segments for RTM2′s Morning Glory. This TV program brings different topics about life and business, and is aired on RTM2 channel.

I brought along a couple of dress suits for the shoot on the Malaysian TV programs normally require you to wear long sleeved jackets. It was supposed to start at 3pm but by 2.30 the shooting crew was already here. Ken the producer, together with Vonn, supervising the shoot and of course, Alvin the make up artist.

When i greeted them with my casual clothes, and bare-faced (pre-make up) looks, i’m sure they were shocked. Not really because, it’s my second round of shooting for RTM in these 2 months. The earlier shooting was for Siapa Dia program, a brand new Malay program on RTM starting 2007, that features different role models in Malaysia.

Among one of the popular shopping malls i frequent when i’m back in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is the KLCC shopping centre. You can get all the major luxury brands here like Prada, Gucci, Coach, but do take note that prices of luxury merchandise in Malaysia, is normally more expensive compared to shopping in Singapore or Hong Kong. On Oct 7th, marked the wedding dinner of my friend, Adele and her husband Khoon Tee. I am happy to be able to share this memorable moment with her, and rushed back from Singapore to attend her wedding reception.

I’ve known Adele for over 3 years now, and we met when eOneNet was a sponsor in the Miss Malaysia World pageant. Adele was the 2nd runner up in the Miss World pageant for Malaysia, but as a person, she is definitely beautiful on both inside and outside!
