The online broadcast of 28Mall.com’s inaugural Asia Influencers Carnival and Awards (AICA) 2018 at Sunway Resort Hotel recently attracted over 10 million views in about 30 minutes.
“This is the power of influencer marketing,” exclaimed Fione Tan, 28Mall.com chief executive officer and AICA chairwoman, adding that the event was broadcast over Facebook, YouTube and Instagram.
AICA recognises top and rising key opinion leaders (KOL) in Malaysia and China. Representatives from the government, embassies, public-listed companies, retailers and small-and-medium enterprises (SMEs) were among the participants and guests of its conference and gala dinner.
The climax of the event was the Power Influencers Awards 2018 which was won by model Amber Chia, singer Winnie K, drift princess Ashley Wong and China’s Lin Yuanshan while the Upcoming Influencer Award 2018 winner was beauty Instagrammer, Elvina Chua.
