Resizing and Formatting Images with Paint
1) To open MS Paint, go the Start menu | Programs |
Accessories | Paint.
|
2) Once paint is open go to the
File menu and choose Open. A dialog box will open
where you can browse for your image. When you
find it, click on it and then click the Open button.
If you do not see your image, then make sure that
the Files of type: combo box has All Files selected
at the bottom of the Open dialog box.
|
3) Now that you have your image opened in mspaint
go to Image on the top menu and select
Stretch/Skew. From here you can resize your image.
Change the Horizontal and Vertical to decrease
the size of your image. Note that both Horizonal and
Vertical numbers should be the same to prevent
stretching. Now click OK.
When you have your image the size that you
want choose File | Save As from the menu. Give
you new image a name and select Graphics
Interchange Format (*.gif) or JPEG File
Interchange Format (*.jpg;*.jpeg). |
