At the age of 21, Fione Tan started an eCommerce company, eOneNet.com in Kuala Lumpur, in November 1999. Equipped with just 4 pages of business plan, Fione Tan shared her vision with her prospect shareholders and managed to raise US$26,000. Without any technical nor programming skills, Fione Tan decided that “Internet Business” was the ideal platform to launch as it was low cost, and with the benefits of being able to sell worldwide, anywhere, anytime.

This was co-organized with the SMI Association of Malaysia, and in 2001, this campaign was co-organized with NCCIM (National Chamber of Commerce & Industry Malaysia). In 2008, she was received recognition from Her Majesty, Raja Permaisuri Agung, as the Top 10 Women Entrepreneurs in Malaysia, organized by SME Corp.
